Embark on a 2-day journey to Zagora through Morocco’s scenic south. Discover the warmth of Berber hospitality over traditional mint tea, enjoy camel rides through the desert, sleep under the stars in a nomadic tent, and explore iconic kasbahs and cinematic landscapes.
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Zagora
Early departure from Marrakech via the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n'Tichka pass. Journey through charming Berber villages before reaching the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, known for its role in famous films.
After lunch, head south along the Draa Valley, stopping in Agdez for a relaxing nature break. Arrive in Zagora in the afternoon for a camel ride into the desert and an overnight stay in a traditional Berber camp. Dinner included.
Day 2: Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Wake up early to catch the magical desert sunrise followed by a camel ride. Continue to Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Morocco", to visit the Atlas Film Studios and the historic Taourirt Kasbah.
After lunch, return to Marrakech via the Tizi n'Tichka pass.
