Experience the best of Morocco’s southern landscapes—from ancient kasbahs and lush valleys to the vast Sahara desert. Discover Berber culture, sleep under the stars, and ride a camel into the heart of the dunes.
Day 1: Marrakech – Dades Valley
Your adventure begins in the morning with a pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N'Tichka pass, stopping to explore the famous UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou—a filming location for numerous movies. After lunch, continue through the Valley of Roses to reach Boumalne Dades by evening. Enjoy dinner and overnight at a charming local hotel.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Erg Chebbi (Merzouga)
After breakfast, continue along the scenic “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” toward Tinghir. Explore the dramatic Todgha Gorges before enjoying lunch at a local spot. Later, head to Merzouga where your camel will be waiting to take you across the dunes at sunset. Upon arrival at your desert camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and live Berber music under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga – Return to Marrakech
Rise early to catch the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After a traditional breakfast, ride your camel back to Merzouga and begin the return trip to Marrakech. Along the way, there will be several stops for meals, rest, and photo opportunities.
