Tiznit Half-Day Trip from Taghazout

Total distance: around 240 km

Discover Tiznit, a historical town located about 80 km south of Agadir, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Anti-Atlas mountains. Founded in 1883 by Sultan Moulay Hassan I, Tiznit is widely known for its exceptional silver craftsmanship.

The city is enclosed by ancient fortified walls with 8 gates and 29 towers. Tiznit’s medina showcases red-toned houses, iconic blue iron doors, and local artisans skilled in traditional silver and gold jewelry. It was once an important stop on trans-Saharan trade routes, where merchants exchanged goods for precious metals.
