Leguezira and Sidi Ifni Day Trip from Agadir

Itinerary:

Departure at 8:00 AM for a roughly 150 km journey passing through the town of Tiznit, famous for its ochre earthen walls. Tiznit, the provincial capital, is a peaceful oasis on the edge of the scorching desert. Its ramparts stretch over 5 km, including 29 towers and 8 gates. You’ll stroll through the old medina with its open-air market, admire unique red-colored houses with blue iron doors, and have the option to explore the silver jewelry souk. Take a break for a refreshing mint tea or coffee before continuing.

The route continues with stops at the beaches of Aglou and Mirleft.

Once at Leguezira, enjoy time soaking up the panoramic views of mountain ranges, the sun, and the harmonious meeting of desert and sea. Swimming in the crystal-clear waters is also possible.

You might witness expert paragliders soaring above, offering an exciting spectacle.

Lunch will be served seaside (starting at 8 EUR per person), featuring various fish specialties: grilled fish, paellas, Moroccan-style fish tagines...

Optionally, visit Sidi Ifni, a wild and authentic area where time seems to stand still. This major fishing port is filled with sardine-laden trawlers. The calm streets and parks of Sidi Ifni leave visitors with a pleasant memory.

Perched on an Anti-Atlas cliff, Sidi Ifni is a vibrant blend of red granite mountains, turquoise Atlantic waters, and white sandy beaches. Art deco houses, lush gardens, and a cathedral-turned-courthouse reflect its Spanish heritage.
